Keppel House

As part of a commercial development appraisal, Woldon were approached to develop concept designs for the renovation and extension of Keppel House, a 1970s apartment block in South Kensington.

An initial assessment established that, while the facades were dilapidated and tired, the building structure was robust and could be reused. An additional storey was proposed, set back from the primary street frontage and designed carefully to respect the adjacent building heights.

The refurbishment work included recladding in brick, new bronze metalwork, and a redesign of the common parts.
