Fitzjohns Avenue
Fitzjohns Avenue is a private residential scheme within the Netherhall and Fitzjohns Conservation area in Hampstead. Two large residential properties extend across the site to create a highly desirable development in this part of Hampstead.
The project explores masterplan options including the restoration of an existing period building into high quality family residential units and the potential for conversion into assisted living accommodation.
These handsome historic buildings are located in the heart of the conservation area. We aim to preserve and enhance the conservation character with an architectural design language that is responsive to the site and its context.
The design of a new build scheme blends the traditional craft of the original facade with a sympathetic but modern extension. A full restoration of the neglected property is programmed to revitalize and bring it back to life.
The collaboration with the client and architect has resulted in elegant and robust apartment designs that deliver to the highest specification. The facilities are all detailed with meticulous quality and craft as would be expected of properties in such a desirable location.
A series of successful residential planning consents were achieved in 2020 for extension and conversion of the properties.
