Cotswolds Estate Venue Building

Nestled within a picturesque Estate in the Cotswolds, a Grade II listed former turn of the century private power station is given a new lease of life. The restoration work encompassed the creation of a versatile boot room, storage areas, shower facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen designed for hospitality use.

The main hall serves as a multifunctional space, adaptable for yoga retreats, private dining and corporate events, while the adjoining original lean to has been transformed into a bathroom block and service area. With meticulous care and craftsmanship, the interior joinery is masterfully handcrafted by the on-site joinery workshop, ensuring a sustainable and bespoke approach to the project.

Inspired by the surrounding historic landscape, both interior and exterior designs seamlessly integrate with their natural surroundings. Material selection plays a pivotal role, balancing practicality with aesthetic appeal. A soft colour palette of greens and browns is carefully curated to complement the verdant landscape, enhancing the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Retained exposed timber beams and traditional stone windows preserve the building's historic charm, while contemporary steel-framed glazing harmoniously merges the external and internal environments, creating a captivating blend of heritage and modernity.
