Commercial and Workspace

We understand the vital role of design, in creating intelligent and interesting buildings, in attracting and retaining the best employees. With a commercial mindset, Woldon has the expertise required to manage complex projects in the commercial sector.

Every building has a unique social, cultural or historical story, and our creative vision is to unlock these hidden elements so as to enrich a scheme. We view design from the occupants’ perspective and are mindful of function, detail and quality. When designing work space, we recognise that the focus is about the company and its people as much as buildings. We realise the power of considered design to help shape and elevate a brand in the physical space.

Woldon has extensive experience with workplace design in both urban and rural environments. Our practice collaborates with clients and engages specialists to obtain planning permissions. We partners with a diverse client body to include landlords and tenants helping to define and deliver their project vision. We create environments that are efficient, desirable, enhance wellbeing for their users, and encourage productivity.

We are involved with commercial new build projects but also advocate where possible the regeneration of existing buildings through considerate refurbishment and extensions. We reuse and repurpose materials, working with existing fabrics to retain the unique character of a building. We always consider the surrounding landscape and maintain an ecological approach to design.

Woldon creates intelligent and sustainable commercial design that reflect the client’s vision and their ethos. Our portfolio of successful commercial projects at varying scales, demonstrates Woldon fulfils briefs and exceeds expectations.
